Three Linguistics graduate students will present their research at the annual Graduate Research Competition (Wednesday, March 12th in the Kansas union, click here for more information):

Mingxing Li “A contrast-driven account of apical vowels in Chinese dialects”.

Maria Teresa (Maite) Martinez-Garcia "Processing verbal inflection in native and non-native Spanish".

Zhen Qin (Quentin) "Effect of native Mandarin dialects on English learners’ use of prosodic cues to stress".
