Prof. Rosen named Dean at Georgia State University

Sara Rosen, professor of Linguistics and senior vice provost for academic affairs, was named the new dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Georgia State University (GSU).  She will begin in this role effective August 17.  Prof. Rosen joined the KU Linguistics department in 1991. She served as department chair from 2000 to 2007 and subsequently as dean of graduate studies (2007-11), senior vice provost (2011-15), and, most recently, as interim provost (2016). Best wishes to Sara as she embarks on this new stage of her administrative career!
