Prof. Pye publishes book on acquisition of Mayan languages
Prof. Clifton Pye has spent over 30 years on the acquisition of Mayan languages. In his new book The comparative method of language acquisition research, Pye argues that a true understanding of language acquisition requires the study of a number of related languages and applies the comparative method to three Mayan languages: K’iche’, Mam, and Ch’ol.
