Linguistics majors receive Undergraduate Research Awards

Two Linguistics majors received an Undergraduate Research Award for Spring 2019. Each student will receive $1,000.

Joseph Denning will work on: “Drop the Base: Omission MMN Sensitivity to Morphological Status, Predictability, and Their Interaction,”

Catherine Pham will work on: “Investigating the Relationship Between Island Sensitivity and Working-Memory Capacity,”

Both students are mentored by Prof. Robert Fiorentino. Congratulations to Joe, Catherine, and Prof. Fiorentino!
