Prof. Annie Tremblay receives funding from the National Science Foundation for her project "Effects of Native Language and Linguistic Exposure on Non-Native Listeners' Use of Prosodic Cues in Speech Segmentation". In this project, Dr. Tremblay and a team of international collaborators will investigate the factors that influence how adult language learners segment a second language into words.
